Delving into full-time ministry at the age of 15, Callie Bennett began singing and leading the Praise and Worship at her home church, Covenant of Faith. Adopted at 4 months old from Seoul, South Korea she began singing before she was able to speak words.
Immediately, her mother noticed her gifting, and at a very young age Callie began to develop a heart and passion not only for singing, but for all musical arts. At 5 years old her mother placed her in piano lessons, at 7 singing lessons, and 13 guitar lessons. Today, Callie continues to teach herself different musical instruments through many avenues on the web.
Along with her leadership role as Praise and Worship Director, Callie works for Covenant of Faith as their Executive Administrator. She has taught youth groups, traveled with her family in ministry, sang for her Father, Ellson Bennett, as he ministered, prayed and ministered through music on the Trinity Broadcasting Network of Arizona and is working on musical CD projects. Her current work is entitled 'Glorify' and was released in 2011.
Callie's music is inspired by her ethnic family, and by her inherited Native American culture. Not only have the Navajo People embraced her, but she has embraced the People and their heritage as her own. Because of her many options with styles and sounds, Callie desires to explore the exciting possibilities of involving indigenous culture with her music.
Callie's heart is to see all come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior whether through teaching the Word or expressing His Love through the message of song. She not only has a heart for the Native Nations but for all Indigenous People of the earth young and old.
