Singing before she was able to speak words, Callie Bennett, was adopted as a baby from Seoul, South Korea and was raised both on and off the Navajo Reservation. Immediately, her mother noticed her gifting, and at a very young age Callie began to develop a heart and passion not only for singing, but for all musical arts. At 5 years old her mother placed her in piano lessons, at 7 singing lessons, and 13 guitar lessons.

Today, Callie is based out of the Navajo Nation, and her artistry is inspired by her inherited Native American culture. Not only have the Navajo/Diné People adopted and embraced her, but she has embraced the People and heritage as her own. From her Great Grandmother she received the name ‘Asdzáá Taachii’nii in Navajo meaning Red Running into Water Woman.

Her family has also been adopted with the Lakota Nation and she’s been honored with the name, Pejuta Lowanpi, Singing Medicine.

Having released 4 Music Albums and multiple singles with collaborations, Callie is also a multi-instrumentalist and her music has opened for world renown bands, sang the national anthem for dignitaries, events, schools, and NBA Games. She has collaborated and played with music artists such as Larry Dunn from World Renowned Band, Earth Wind and Fire, and Keith Secola, Native American Living Legend and Hall of Fame. As in the words of her Producer, Greg Miller, “She is a force to be reckoned with.”

Callie is a Native American Music Award Winner and Indigenous Music Award Winner, Entrepreneur, Designer, Model, and a constant aspiring Artist in all she does including photography, beadwork, fine art, and more.

She’s highly involved with her Church’s Ministerial work in full time ministry, and is a licensed minister and is a Teacher, an Executive Administrator, a Worship Director and Leader, a Psalmist, Event Coordinator, Public Relations, and more. She has sang on the Trinity Broadcasting Network of Arizona, been on many Christian Television interviews, spoken at conferences and youth groups, and travels extensively with her parents, Drs. and Pastors Ellson & Debra Bennett.

Callie’s heart is to reach out to all nations with encouragement, hope, faith, and love. She desires to see lives changed, transformed, and restored through the power of Word, music, and any other avenue that will help bring positive change to the youth, communities, and families for the better.
